**Job Title: Service Lead** **Job Description** We are seeking a full-time Travel Service Lead to join our team. This role involves traveling to various government properties, such as Naval Bases, Airforce Bases, and National Parks, to oversee the installation of standalone Wi-Fi networks. Project durations range from 3 days to 8 weeks and will be coordinated with technicians in advance to confirm availability and preferences. **Responsibilities** + Lead and manage a crew of 2-3 technicians. + Run, terminate, and test CAT cable and other low voltage cables. + Work with Windows and Microsoft applications. + Read and understand blueprints and drawings. + Communicate and coordinate with customers and IES Project Managers daily. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field. + Proficiency in running, terminating, and testing fiber optics. + Skill in network configuration and blueprint interpretation. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems. + Ability to understand universal communications color codes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Blue Beam operation and heat mapping. + Knowledge of analog phone systems. + High School diploma or GED equivalency required. + Experience in customer service and supervising others. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading Commercial A/V organization, offering a fantastic opportunity to enter the telecom space and grow professionally. You will work both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions, and sometimes at heights. Project hours typically range from 7am to 6pm, with a workweek of 40-60 hours. While 90% of the year involves travel, all travel expenses, including flights, hotels, and rental cars, are covered in advance. A per diem is provided for each day spent out of town, and payment for a 40-hour week is guaranteed even during project downtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position for travel field service, ideal candidate will live within one hour of major airport. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
