Department: Customer Success

Rivet and Role Overview:

Rivet is a venture-backed SaaS startup building vertical software for healthcare providers to make the U.S. healthcare system more transparent and efficient. We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Healthcare Payer Contract Analyst to join our support team. The ideal candidate has exceptional time management skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for producing high-quality, detail-focused work.

About this Position:

  • The Healthcare Payer Contract Analyst at Rivet is a vital role focused on maintaining customer accounts' accuracy and completeness, specifically with payer contracts and fee schedules. This position supports our Implementation Managers and Customer Success Managers, playing a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date payer contracts and fee schedules for customer accounts.
  • Perform data discovery and entry tasks, including formatting spreadsheets and accurately modeling fee schedules in Rivet's software.
  • Read, interpret, and understand payer contract terms.
  • Quickly complete task lists and provide timely updates on progress.
  • Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work to ensure account readiness.
  • Communicate with customers about the details of their payer contracts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good understanding of physician and/or hospital reimbursement methodologies
  • Experience modeling fee schedules or working with physician and/or hospital billing
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Honesty, curiosity, coachability, and work ethic
  • Comfort and ability to research complicated healthcare questions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with frequent customer interaction over email.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Who you are:

  • You are a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • You enjoy tackling complex challenges, whether it’s interpreting payer contract terms or resolving data discrepancies.
  • You are excited about the growth and opportunities that come with working for a growing start-up.
  • You’re proactive and take pride in delivering high-quality work, even under tight timelines.

Why Rivet?

  • Healthcare administration is awful, and we’re making a dent in that ever-so-important universe, reimagining the financial and revenue cycle technology stack for healthcare’s hardest jobs. Where other products stop, we begin.
  • Ownership and accountability - we'll give you the reigns and hold you responsible for delivering great results (while helping you along the way).
  • Wear lots of hats - we're small and scrappy, so you'll learn first-hand about the different aspects of a SaaS company.
  • Ship product early and often - you'll learn which ideas worked or not so you can iterate quickly to build a great product.
  • Work with a best-in-class team - we're driven, smart, hard-working, and we have a ton of fun together.
  • Be yourself - we recognize and celebrate our differences and want you to bring your full self to work.
  • Mentorship - our leaders and fellow Riveteers will challenge and support your growth and development.
  • Great benefits - including 100% of healthcare premiums paid, strong HSA contributions, stock options, PTO, and more.
