Job Description

A growing national company is looking for a motivated individual to lead our team of drywall repair specialists. The ideal candidate has experiencing managing a team, is detail oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable and presentable, and can guide a technician to follow a specific process to perform quality drywall repairs. This job will focus on the Central Dallas (Downtown) and North/Northeast areas.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The manager/operator is expected to have extensive experience in drywall repair, drywall instillation, or general home repair; as well as experience managing a business or work crews. Candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspect of the project, including scheduling, operational details, estimating, ordering supplies, and follow-up.

The manager/operator will be responsible for checking in on team of technicians in various locations throughout the duration of the project. The manager/operator requires good communication skills to provide project status to the customer and progress reports to the business owner.

Salary based on experience and qualifications. Performance bonuses in addition to base pay is possible after training period.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of working with drywall installation or repairs required

Experience with managing construction, carpentry, or home repair crews is a big plus

Valid driver’s license

Clean driving record

Fluent in English 

Preferred Skills

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

Strong work ethic with entrepreneurial mindset

Computer and Technology savvy

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 75lbs

Desire to learn and improve

Reliable transportation to jobsites

5+ years in drywall repair.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Candidates are required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
